Trifid Nebula
The Trifid Nebula, 5000 light-years from Earth, is a star-forming region. The different colors come from light-emitting gas (pink) and starlight-reflecting dust (blue).

- Mount: Astro-Physics 1200GT
- Camera: SBIG STL-11000M
- Notes: Wind caused the stars to be slightly elongated, but the picture was pretty enough to post anyway.
